Sunday School
The Sunday School is designed for members of CCC Elephant and Castle Parish between the ages of 4-16. The school is divided into four distinct classes. These are 4-6, 7-9, 10-12, and 13-16. This is to ensure that the ministry meets the spiritual needs of each pupil as expected of their age. The admission months into any of these classes are January, June, and July.

Classes
01 — Class 4 - 6
This is the official entry point to the Sunday although we understand that some pupils will join the parish when they have grown past this age. We regard this age as very important because this lays the foundation for future Sunday School experience.

02 — Class 7 - 9
Based on the experience of the Sunday School Teachers, we regard this age as when character is formed. As a result, it requires the necessary attention and detail. This led to a unanimous conclusion that the aim of the class is to deliver pupils that will clearly display the fruits of the spirit as captured in Galatians 5:22-23. These include love, joy, spirit, peace, kindness, and self-control amongst others.

03 — Class 10 - 12
This is a strategic class that has the aim of ensuring that the pupils start to develop a conscious and intimate relationship with God and be ready to access the associated benefits. They are expected to build on what they have learnt in their past Sunday school experience. By the age of 12, they are expected to have identified (or have a sense) of their calling or service point in the church. The ministry intends that between the age of 10-12, each pupil through personal study should endeavour to complete reading half of the Bible as the plan will be set out by their respective teachers.

04 — Class 13 - 16
This is the transition class to the Youth Ministry of the parish and in fact to the external world at large. The aim of this class is to ensure that pupils begin to become conscious of the trinity with emphasis on the dealings of the Holy Spirt. We expect that pupils will develop a more intimate relationship with God at this age observing such activity like a quiet time with God. Lectures with this age group are more practical in approach to enhance proper understanding. At this age, the male and female will be trained and made to do Sunday Sermon and give exhortation respectively.
