A Brief Profile of Our New Shepherd by Superior Evangelist Job MBE

Spiritual Journey
By divine providence through his Brother, Late Senior Evangelist Anthony O Idowu a.k.a. ‘Akomoje’ led young Samuel to CCC Makoko, Lagos where he joined the Church. He moved to Ibadan in April 1965 and worshipped at CCC Yemetu until he traveled to work as a teacher at Abeokuta in 1971. At Abeokuta, his Parish was at CCC Ijemo, Ijako, where he worshipped for eight months and returned to Ibadan in September 1971. He moved to CCC, Agbowo Parish in November 1971. When the Army of Africa Church-owned Baba Olagundoye, Baba Oshoffa’s in-law was converted to CCC, Army Barracks Road in February 1972 he joined the Parish as a foundation member until he came to the UK.
In the UK, he joined CCC Harton Street Parish in London. When CCC Elephant & Castle Parish was birthed in 1976, he was also one of the foundation members. To the glory of God Almighty, Superior Evangelist Samuel Olusegun Idowu has been elevated to shepherd the flock of Jesus Christ at this Parish. We pray that the Lord fortify him with formidable spiritual strength and capability to serve Him in humility, discernment, wisdom, and the Spirit of the fear of the Lord in the years and decades ahead, In Jesus powerful and wonderful Name. Our new Shepherd, Dr. Samuel Idowu, is currently a Senior Lecturer at London Metropolitan University and will continue in the role until further notice. On behalf of all members of C.C.C.
